I felt contractually obligated to perform Sidewalks over the C.R.E.A.M. beat. Mainly because the initial lines of the song were inspired by Raekwon as it fit the concept perfectly. The concept being that while I was technically raised in inner city New York, my sheltered upbringin was less street wise and more like street adjacent. Thus the title. Also, my limited edition green promo vinly of the 12" is a prize possesion in my record collection. So it was nice to get some good use out of it for this track.
