lyrics

Kings Just Rule
They say heavy is the head that wears the crown. And everybody wanna catch the game of thrones. So much that people just recycle the same ole sounds. And make the rap game look like attack of the clones. They got beats that knock for like three notes. A whole album of bars with like three quotes. Rappers mumble behind their deep accent. Sayin Jack sounding like autotuned deep throat. So in the land of the blind the cyclops finds the shine. But there’s plenty to see on the periphery. The spotlight hits a handful of real emcees and people act like they solved some kind of mystery. You want to front like lyrics is back. They never left fuck all that revisionist history. I mean they are who we thought they were you wanna crown em. The court’s fulla killers with flows that might drown’em.
Yeah rap beef rap fued rap feudal system. Rap futility. Infertility. So much pent up anger. Hostility. No love lost or found for that crown. The throne or the ring or the play’s the thing. The Poison in your ear makes it hard to hear. With fake Journalists just glorified dick ride. Pick clicks for clicks Playing the perfect courtier. Yasiin been told you who was run this rap shit. They Add a T sign a 360 and traps kids to Rap drug traffic over hi hats rapid. Your Pennies on the dollar like a tree sap tap kid. I’m Fickle with your trickle cause my flow like rapids. The God stay crazy cause the dogs is rabid. They Leashes real tight as they flash fake riches. Chase the snake bitches and swing for wild pitches. As the mate tricks glitches since the snitches get stiches. Dee Jays play along knowing they dead wrong. The weak or the strong. Who got it going on? They claim kings of media but really just pawns.
Yeah teachers teach and do the world good. Kings just rule and most are never understood. The rules get broken and the kings do to. For kings that teach subjects remain true. When the revolution come, if all you was talking about was your crown don’t act like you was down. Get found up under your thrown. Get dragged up out of your home. Get right or get gone. I salute success in these days and times. For all those that built a empire out of rhyme. I see you and your greatness shine. Inspiration is the only way your greatness can relate to mine. So when I hear a master teacher claim king of a region. It sounds unreasoned like truth out of season. We know it aint no best. We have no opponents. The job of the emcee is to rule the moment.
