lyrics

Feel This
You done caught me at the wrong time. Like I been waiting in a long line. And I was waiting for a long time. Only to find out it was the wrong line. On top of that you coming at me with the wrong rhyme. Full of sound and fury signifying nothing. Empty threats to a invisible enemy. Even figments of your small imagination know you bluffing. That whole style that you sonned is playing with toy soldiers shooting with toy guns. It sure looks like fun but I put down childish things to get this work done so… Run along sonny run. Go play somewhere in traffic for all I care. It gets graphic in here. We crush a lot of players Stay out of the dragon’s lair, ‘cause you aint no dragon slayer, nah.
Now all my real emcees you gotta feel this. Fake writers and biters just won’t feel this. Hip hop junkie fanatics gonna feel this. Posers and front runners just don’t feel this. Now you should throw your hands up if you feel this. Get out your seat and stand up if you feel this. B-men and B-women if you feel this. This is only the beginning.
I suppose you could call me a battle rapper. Truth be told it’s been a while since I battled rappers. After a certain level a master doesn’t half to. Still a warrior but that’s not the battle I’m after. I am no longer so concern with my competitors. None or threats simply some are worse and some are better. Battle myself like I’m the writer and the editor. I save the hunt for preying on my natural predators. I battle stop and frisk cops for my human rights. Covert and overt racists actin’ mighty white. Religious vampires trying to suck my people dry. The all eye seeing vs. The all seeing eye. I Battle these lobbyists and politicians steady scheming. I’m looking deep within battling my own demons. I’m battling this cycle trying to be a better father. To show my babies to never give up on what they’re dreaming.
The true and living God battling my devils daily. Defeating my self-defeating self trying to scare me. Making music selling records and promoting shows. It’s a up hill battle but that’s just how it goes. I battle loved ones steady second-guessing my profession. With the whole world stressing I’m battling depression. I battle self-proclaimed conscious people lip professing. I battle fake 5%ers that don’t know they lessons. Battling self-conscious acts of passive aggression. I battle bold face liars and they still aint confessing. Surrounded by the wrong foods we battle hypertension, diabetes high blood pressure not to mention. So many battlefields of physical and mental health. The only weapon I’m armed with it knowledge of self. Now I aint claiming undefeated or somehow perfected, But I bet you Imma die with a winning record.
